Some people discover fashion. For Damilola, fashion was always part of who she was.
As a child, creativity came naturally. She loved styling people, experimenting with fashion, applying makeup, and finding beauty in the smallest details. Creating was never a hobby; it was the way she understood the world.
Although she once dreamed of becoming a physiotherapist, life led her in a different direction. At her family’s encouragement, she pursued a career in Orthopaedic Nursing. It was a path she committed to with discipline, but deep down, she always knew her purpose lay elsewhere: creating something she could one day call her own.
THAT VISION
BECAME BEEBAH.
Determined to turn that vision into reality, Damilola studied fashion professionally and later attended Lagos Business School at Pan-Atlantic University to develop the business knowledge needed to build a lasting brand. She did not want to become just another designer. She wanted to build a luxury fashion house that could stand confidently on the global stage.
That vision became BEEBAH.
Founded on the belief that fashion is both art and identity, BEEBAH reflects Damilola’s desire to create clothing that empowers people to feel confident, elegant, and unapologetically themselves. Every design is intentional. Every piece is created with the belief that what you wear should leave a lasting impression long after you have left the room.
The journey has demanded resilience. Building BEEBAH has meant navigating financial challenges, learning new skills, making difficult decisions, and continuing to move forward even when progress felt slow. Rather than waiting for opportunities, Damilola chose to create them.
For Damilola, persistence is not simply a quality; it is a way of life.
She believes extraordinary things are built by people who refuse to stop. That belief has shaped every decision, every collection, every garment, and every step in BEEBAH’s journey.
